It's not how McKenna's works.
When you shop with us regularly, we get to know your preferences — your sizing, your colorways, your go-to styles. When new stock arrives that fits what you like, we think of you. When a pre-order opens for a style we know you'd love, we reach out. That kind of relationship isn't something an algorithm can replicate, and it's not something you get from a large online retailer.

The South Bay Community
Torrance and the South Bay sit at the intersection of several cultural communities that have shaped Southern California — the surf tradition, the Chicano and lowrider culture, the beach cities' long history of outdoor living. Pendleton has been part of all of them, and McKenna's has been part of Pendleton's presence in this region for nearly four decades.
We've served three generations of some families. We've helped customers find their first board shirt and helped their kids find theirs. We've watched styles cycle in and out of fashion while the board shirt stayed exactly where it always was — relevant, durable, and genuinely loved.
That continuity is something we're proud of. It's also something that shapes how we buy and what we carry. We're not stocking a generic online catalog — we're curating for a community we know well.
Pre-Orders and Early Access
One of the ways we serve our regular customers is through pre-orders — early access to upcoming Pendleton releases before they hit general availability. The styles that matter tend to sell out. Pre-ordering is how our most loyal customers make sure they never miss a drop.

If you're in the South Bay, we'd love to see you in person. There's no substitute for trying on a board shirt, feeling the wool, and getting advice from someone who knows the product as well as we do. We're open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm, at 2863 Pacific Coast Highway in Torrance. (Open Sundays during the Holiday season too)
