A Pendleton Original

Pendleton’s Umatilla® Wool is a durable, versatile medium-weight fabric with a soft, flannel-like hand perfect for outdoor and indoor wear. Naturally water-, stain- and odor-resistant (and often machine washable), it’s the fabric of choice for our many shirts.

The Original Board Shirt® was an essential among California surfers in the '60s—and is still our bestselling shirt today.

This signature wool fabric takes its name from Oregon’s Umatilla County, home of the original Pendleton Woolen Mill in Pendleton, Oregon.

All of Pendleton's USA wool is grown west of the Mississippi, much of it in Eastern Oregon.
The  Krebs family ranch has been providing Pendleton with wool for five generations.

90+ YEARS OF UMATILLA WOOL
